EYE BAGS…
My name is
Karin Ann McQuade.
I have played the violin and fiddle since I was in second grade; going on nine years now. I am a junior at the Charleston County School of the Arts High School, as a Strings Major under Ms. Fitzgerald. I am a private student of Asako Kremer, Charleston Symphony Orchestra violinist.
I was a founding member of the Coastal Georgia Youth Symphony and Chamber Group performer for 3 years. When I moved to Charleston 3 years ago, I was selected to be a member of the Low Country Youth Orchestra, now directed by Ruben Camacho.
…..for……
I am a member of Na Fidleri; a Group of young Musicians led by Mrs. Mary Taylor. The Taylor Music Group is a non-profit organization that promotes through education the perpetuation of Irish music, culture and history. We are going to Ireland in 2013 and I am raising money so that I will be able to go.
…Ireland!
Donations of $10 (or more) for each eye-bag will help me to meet my goal.
Each time you use this special hand made eye bag, filled with lentils, and calming scents, I thank you for helping me achieve my dream of performing in Ireland.
Jai!
