Nini Marchese

Soprano Nini Marchese holds degress from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and The University of North Texas. This season she joins the Dallas Opera Touring Production of Elixir of Love as Adina. In the 2021/2022 season, Ms. Marchese premiered the role of The Computer/Infinite Movement and appeared as Königin der Nacht/Die Zaubertflöte with Music on Site. This summer Ms. Marchese was in residence with Utah Festival Opera, where she covered Frasquita/Carmen and Queen of the Night/The Magic Flute. A frequent concert soloist, she has performed many works including Bach Magnificat, St. John Passion, and Handel’s Brockes Passion with Bach Society Houston. Other recent

engagements include the title role/Lucia di Lammermoor, Valentina Scarcella/Later the Same Evening, Belinda/Dido and Aeneas, Despina/Così fan tutte, Almirena/Rinaldo, and the title role/Zéphyre
